wall 2 _ frame, surface and floor

drawing, making, visualising

a-project is developing the implications for a framed wall construction utilising manipulations of grid and a framework of component typologies. Developing a rigour of wall operations that respond to localised manipulations and contingent implications of “grid” and the potential of “component” typologies within this grid.

a-project is developing these “wall” studies as an ongoing framework of multiple possibilities for architectural occupation. In this instance forming an evolving logic of “room” occupation and spatial delineation.

a-project is an architectural design practice that provides a flexible architectural service that is responsive to the complexities of contemporary life and the varied situations of the built environment and client needs. It focusses on an open approach to design problems – responding to the multiple factors that shape the process of designing – from the social, economic and physical environmental challenges to historic, material and personal narratives.
